Personal Support Services
We offer Personal Support Services (PSS) both at home and in the community, where we provide individualized support to adults as they build independent living skills and pursue meaningful community participation, integration, and a true sense of belonging.
Independence in Self-Care
Support focused on building independence in daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
Money Management
Support focused on developing skills to manage personal finances, including budgeting, making purchases, saving money, and understanding the value of money to promote independence and responsible decision-making.
Cooking and Meal Preparation
Training and support to help individuals plan simple meals, safely use kitchen equipment, follow recipes, and prepare nutritious foods to increase independence with daily living.
Housekeeping and Laundry
Instruction in maintaining a clean and organized living space, including tasks such as cleaning, organizing, washing laundry, folding clothes, and caring for personal belongings.
Managing Medication
Support to help individuals understand their medication routines, including recognizing medications, following schedules, and practicing safe habits to promote health and wellness (as appropriate and permitted).
Transportation Training
Skill-building to help individuals safely navigate transportation options, such as walking safely in the community, using public transportation, rideshare services, or coordinating rides to increase independence.
Communication Programming
Support focused on developing and strengthening communication skills, including expressing needs and preferences, understanding others, and using verbal, nonverbal, or assistive communication methods.
